  • What is your celebratory cigar?

So it seems there are cigars for all occasions, a quick smoke midweek during winter, a longer friday night smoke and everything in between, for all moods, times and situations, but what is the one cigar you either do have, or would like if you could afford it and source it for that once in a lifetime marking of the moment?

What is your holy grail smoke when only the best (in your opinion) will do, something that makes you stop, sit up and pay particularly close attention?

Partagas Lusitanias. Just always a damn good cigar, prefer it to a Siglo VI and costs a bit less.

Did once spring for a BHK 52 which was absolutely terrific, but overal the Lusi is still the top cigar for me.

I have heard that crop up a few times, definitely on my to try list, especially given the price.

Good man, will be all the more special when that moment arrives and you can finally savour it. Do the maduro's have a different flavour/aroma to normally wrapped cigars?

I will always try to go for something a little special if I am celebrating, maybe a "one off" kind of smoke, I find it really helps concrete the occasion into your mind, you can look back on that day and re-call every detail. The perfect occasion for a gifted stick.

Well am still resonably new to this 8 months smoking so this i what i think maduro brings to the game its sweeter on the taste and find the cigars are creamier but thats just my palate and what am enjoying smoking. But i have got a few different cigars in my humi that am waiting for special moment an few nice cubans which i dont just want to smoke for the sake of it mate

We'll I'm going to have to jump on the BHK wagon too, I want to know what the big deal is about... Perhaps next year with a bit more experience under my belt! To celebrate my anniversary next month I'm eying one if either a Cohiba Lanceros, Bolivar Britanicas, Upmann Sir Winston, Punch D'Oro or Romeo y Julieta Hermosos No.2 2004 I think the Bolivar is leading the race up to now.... It just looks so good!

The Behike is an easy, medium smoke. Goes fantastic with a sweet liqour. Highly recommended
The only cigar similar (with my limited knowledge) was the Petit Bolivar Belicosos 2009 LE that I smoked.

It would be a Cohiba Sublimes LE for me. Unfortunately, my stocks dried up long ago, but have plenty of Monte Sublimes, which is also a fine cigar and worthy of keeping back for a special occasion.

Haha Montecristo A, they are the most redonkulous and epic cigar I have ever seen!

I find myself gawping whenever I see them..... If I ever become a dictator or millionaire, it's all I will smoke in public!

Have foolishly been picking up larger cigars which I can't justify smoking generally.

Would be a very hard call between

I'll also opt for the Monte No.4 Reserva for a Cuban and an Opus X for non-Cuban.
