Getting her an iron or steam cleaner and a box of expensive cigars for me? I think that will end up being an extremely painful experience, maybe a visit to A&E, that sort of thing.

Sorry for the probably obvious question, but as a newby, what do you mean drybox?


I am presuming perhaps 62-ish humidity but don't know for sure.

It's pretty much just removing the cigar from a humidifying source, some people will put them in an old cigar box or their cigar case when to do it, what sticks to do it with e.t.c you only really discover with experience

I've seen a lot of people give 'meh' reviews on the 520, I was told to dry box it for 2-3 days before smoking it and have never had a better smoke and have heard similar things over on another forum I post on.

Ahhh makes sense, like i said, pretty obvious question but if you don't know, you don't know.

Really appreciate the info, I have a single 520 in my tupperdor and am saving it for christmas day I think, I am really looking forward to it as your impressions seem to reinforce other reviews I have seen, and so will drybox mine in the run up to the big day.
