They think it helps authenticate the story of the "connexion in the cigar factory."
Ya know, the whole: I took a box THEN took stickers and here's my proof.. Kinda thing.
Now. There are MANY boxes with the fake stickers on them as well. But they don't have such an elaborate back story.

No. It's because if you leave the stickers OFF you've only committed a small crime (theft) and rolled a few cigars.
Stick the stickers ON and you commit a much bigger crime in claiming the faked products are authenticated and approved of by the Cuban Government .... caught the sentence will we longer and harder .... so they don't do it.If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!

i will have some guesses as i do not know but my immediate thoughts are that I have only ever seen the Habanos d.o.p sticker on the right hand side, the government seal on the bottom left corner...if indeed that is meant to be the government seal as I cannot see the hologram or barcode in the end and it looks a bit narrow too?
Bottom layer looks loosely packed, and would the separating item be either greaseproof paper and thinner just covering the bands essentially, or if cedar, wouldn't that be a far bigger size essentially covering the bottom layer?
Tempted to say shade differences between cigar is quite large...but how much do you attribute to just a poorly lit picture?

More in stickers: if they were bought in Cuba, they should have the MINSAP health sticker on the front as well

And yupp, can't tell with the picture as of this moment...
These cigars are also round which is not what Monte 4s are. The typical 4s are box pressed and basically square! And i can bet you 20 quid that on the bottom of the box, there is no date code under the Habanos SA marking.Originally posted by ValeTudoGuyMarc's a Fat Molly

Aha missed you too butters! I have no excuse other than this forum is the ideal procrastination and I have not needed escape from work until now! Also I am boracic lint so can't afford cigars and this forum is like a cigar tease
Suffice to say my last few months have consisted of winning a gameshow and smoking bensons!
