Help identifying cigars

Here's a bit of a challenge for you lot....no prize though, just for fun

I need some help to ID a couple of cigars I received without bands from a BOTL a few weeks ago. I believe they actually come bandless and probably came in a cabinet. I don't think the seller took the bands off to confuse me

1. 44 x 6 3/8" - I think it's a RyJ Cazadores
2. 47 x 7" - Not so sure...HdM Churchill??? (do they come bandless?!?)

Any ideas ?

This prompted me to have a play with cubancigarwebsite a bit further.

1. Might be RyJ Cazadores as you say.
2. Might be San Luis Rey Churchills, as that's the only one without a band in the pic or mentioning a band. Says disco'd in 2000 though?

Difficult.

I think the Cazadores is 170mm Stevieboy, so your R&J seems a little bit short.As for the Churchill I would have to go for SLR, or it could be from a really old box befrore the bands were obligatory.

Whisk - did HdM ever bring their churchills out without bands? I know it's only been in the last few years that cigars from cabs or SLBs have had bands added !?!?!

My first answer would be no Stevieboy, but let me dust down and consult the cigar books, then i`ll get back to you.If they did then I am thinking late nineties at the earliest.

Do they even come in SLBs? I recall a pic of Kdot's recent purchases and I'm sure they were in a dress box?!?!?

I'll check with Min and we can re-convene at a mutually agreeable hour for some one-to-one face-time...I'll try to throw a few things up the flag-pole and see if the cat wants to lick it...(loved the rant you and Bry were having about management-speak)

That's 2 votes for SLR so I'll go with that. I might have erred slightly on the 'cazadores' measurement but I'm pretty sure that's what it is

Had another look last night Stevieboy and the Churchill has me stumped mate.
