Are Cigars Getting Smaller??

I noticed recently that some cigars seem to be coming through slimmer.
The recent Siglo II's i bought were slimmer than some i have from 2009, same with the Serie P No2, the box of 10 i have fit snug at the foot of the cigar, but towards the head of the stick, there looked to be quite a gap appearing between each stick...i know there tapered, but there is a noticeable difference as the bands are closer together...

Anyone else notice anything like this recently??

Interesting, i opened a box of the P2's a few days ago, and the space in there is what got me thinking, and then the band with the Siglo II's...

I wouldn't like to bet on it .... but it may have something to do with the freezing of boxes by Habanos.
