The older lines discontinued in 2012..3 other vitola released this year...for fans of the long & skinny, not good news...

Mananitas - Vegueros 46 X 100

I'm a fan of the Vegueros, they come into their own with 5 years + on them, I wish I'd taken more notice of the last releases.
Now some Marevas & Vegueros will find a way into my loft...

The next person to call them a mild smoke certainly hasn't had one...most reviews I've read on the web are IMHO shite!

As far as I'm aware, & I don't get all my info from Trevor's site, Veguero as a brand wasn't discontinued in Cuba.
That's only word of mouth from a Cuban, but who knows...

Never had any ever, don't even know anything about them! BUT....as Puff has said before, they're coming...and they're being relaunched tonight...

Bad news on the Veggies...
Wasn't away for long enough to be called dis-continued..that was just bizzy speak for..."we've not had good sales on these...so let's start again"...
All the older Vegggies I've smoked went from okayee...too fabulous with age...
Now..not only have they jazzed up the boxes & bands..& mucked about with the packaging quantities...
They have deliberately knocked back the strength of these cigars....disaster darlings..absolute disaster....FAIL!

Exactly what I've said: The flavours in Vegueros are great..so why change the blend...
But having said that...what sort of bloke cuts 2 inches off the end of a plugged stogie...
has he not heard of a knitting needle or draw poker...whazzak!
Anyway..the factory that these were made has the best reputation for quality of construction in Cuba...
perhaps he just ran out of something to say..next time I've got a plugged Monte A, I'll just cut it up into 2" bits..that'll show it whose boss...

New Vegueros line – prices in France

The new Vegueros were reviewed in the latest Havanoscope. Two of them (the petit robusto and the petit pyramide) get very good reviews.

Here are the prices in France, which are usually some of the better in Europe:

• Entretienpos – petit edmundo: €6.50

• Ma?anitas – it's a short pyramid, 100x46rg, vitola de galera still unknown: €5.00

• Tapados – mareva gruesa, 120x46rg, like a shorter corona gorda : €6.00

The reviews of the Entretienpos and Ma?anitas are very enthusiastic! The Tapados is said "bitter, too green".
