Current boxes (ie since release) the Petite Edmundos punch well above their weight I will agree. Or should that be "cohiba" well above their weight.....or Upmann...or...ok, I'll shut up now. LOL
Never had a "bloody" one though so maybe I have not experienced everything they have to offer yet.
What would I know? I'm just a backwoods roo packin crim from New Holland! LOL. (Thankyou El Cat)
Petit Edmundo is a good cigar. Consistently so. But here's the question: why is the blend different from the Edmundo. Same ring gauge so it should have the same number of leaves. Definetly has more of a ligero kick to me though...

Asked Hamlet this exact question a couple of years ago. He told me its a different blend, that simple.

Montecristo #1, 3, 4 & B are all the same RG, very different cigars even though they exhibit the Monte profile. Cuban cigars vary in taste by vitola and are not blended the same no matter the number of leaves used, unlike many NCs that are similar throughout the range. There is no reasoning that the edmundo & it's petite brother should be exactly the same.

I've gone in on a box split for some PE's with a few friends and they are a great little cigar. One of the best? Not sure about that but definitely great
