Divide the cost per stick by the gram weigh of each cigar and see what you get, not much in it

        PSD No 4 ?12.50 divided by 11.66 grams = ?1.07p per gram.

Quintero panatella ?6.49 divided by 6 grams = ?1.08 per gram.

see i always said they are a quality stick.

It's a decent point, but it should also be added that price does not define quality my friend. (How's that for cigar snobbery?)
Business in the front. Party in the back.

My real point is the fact that at ?150 for 25 these are close to 6 times the price i pay when on holiday, yet a box of 25 PSD No4 is only 3 times the price i have to pay when on holiday.

A good friend of mine paid ?90 for 10 HDM especial and ?180 for 10 monte sublimes, with a few other boxes. Then got 20% off the total. Winner holiday. Deals to be had...

Do the same sum again. But this time use a Siglo VI and a Punch Margaritas. Interesting!

Yeh we don't really have a budget option with the cigars because we're taxed per weight and not value like the rest of the world. It really needs to change. It probably works out well for hunters & frankau because it means others like altadis have a greater barrier of entry in to the market and can't offer us their budget-friendly nc's of which there are a boatload of

I have got to the stage where I would rather have a day trip abroad than spend my money with UK retailers and give HMRC my hard earned.
