  • Plume? Or mould?

    Guys

New here. Have been given some sublimes and unsure whether this is mould or plume? They seem fine but have a very light marks on them. Not sure if photo shows but it's like a very light haze..ImageUploadedByTapatalk1351536106.383876.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1351536117.981882.jpg

Looks like a tiny spot of mould to me. Give it a light brush and if it dissapears all is good. No big deal.

Well Mucca.. excellent question that will get numerous answers..
I would say neither. .. .. ..waits to get shot down...
I don't think they're old enough for plume..oil migrates from the cigars inner...
Doesn't look like mould to me IMHO!
I would suggest they have been subjected to a rapid temperature fluctuations which have crystallised some of the oils found on the wrapper .....
I may be wrong but the next 10 posts might make me think again.....

As monks said a gentle wipe or dust & I don't think you have anything to worry about...

P.S. I use a pastry brush..you can increase or decrease the stiffness of the bristles with a small elastic band...sad, but it works!

I have a small soft bristle paint brush which does the same job Puff.

Honestly, from looking at the photographs I would not worry about it at all mate.
