Few worrying bits, firstly they're not from a bonafide retailer in birmingham, they're definitely from offshore likely spain as the warning sticker is in spanish, and no ems stickers too.
Just a hunch but the stamp underneath looks iffie, normally I would expect AGO 09 not AG009, slightly wonky and hard to read to like is that a 9 or a 3, and TO6 or TOG or TO8?
And the general rustic, veiny, random look of them.
Nothing rock solid except the non-UK bit.

They look good to me! Although your photography skills leave a little to be desired ;-)

Any body else see AGO 05 not 09?

That's one of my issues 03/05/09??. Main problem is the story about being from a birmingham retailer.

Sorry mate, like I say, the only guaranteed thing is they are not english market selection, so at best imported and sold without paying tax but valid cuban cigars, at worst who knows...

To be honest there's only one way to find out if they're decent smokes...fire one up and see how it tastes!
But if I was at all unsure about a box I'd keep it isolated from other sticks - it would really suck if a beetle infestation ruined your entire stock!
If you want a midget to look like a baby, don't put a cigar in his mouth.

Do you know how they have been stored for the last two years?

I agree with you, mate. But that stamp is the worse I've seen.

The top letters are the factory and the bottom is the date - August 09

Here is what i make of them from the pics, the cigars seem to look good to me.
The bands look legit and in line,
If the date code is AGO 09 and not AGO 05 the outer white habanos label is the correct one for the year 2009 which is near the time they added the D.O.P to it.
The green and white seals look like the right ones for the time too, hence the reason you have two, the old and newer styles, it was in this year there was a change of the security labels.
The stamp on the bottom looks ok
The date stamp is also correct, i have boxes from 2009 with no space between the AGO09 and one or two of mine are also not stamped on perfectly straight.
TOG seems familiar i think i have a box somewhere at home bearing this stamp.

Everything seems good to me....smoke one and let me know how it tastes....
