Cohiba Mucho Esplendido!

Spent the best part of the afternoon, an hour and 40 minutes, smoking a 14 year old Cohiba Esplendido, photo below. Absolutely fantastic, very smooth with lots of body and the exquiste different flavours, changing as the cigar progressed were really stunning. It didn't go off once, not even when I left it for ten minutes to make a fresh coffee to accompany my large chunk of dark hazelnut chocolate, Lindt Praline Hazelnut since you asked. I've still got five of these Espendidos left, although haven't had any for five years or so. Perhaps I should get some more to age, although this time I won't keep them so long.

Nice review & good to see the great Esplen getting so of the attention it richly deserves, rather than being the one vitola every non-cigar smoker seems to buy in Cuba, after being assured they'll make a few bob when flogging tehm back home.
I find a well aged Esplen is still the cream of Havana's finest & a lot better than many EL's & Lt Ed's, costing more. Take care of those you have left, personally don't think they will improve any further so I would smoke them up over the next yr or two, having laid down a few more for the future.
