Prices for this years Edicion Limitadas

I got this via email a few days ago. Belgian prices though so expect a fair hike for the UK

- H. Upmann Robusto EL 2012: Box of 25 - 312,5 Euro - expected half September
- Partas C3 EL 2012: Box of 10 - 132 Euro - expected half September
- Montecristo 520 EL 2012: Box of 10 - 190 Euro - expected end of October

PLUS:

- Cohiba Piramides Extra: Box of 10 - 280 Euro - expected half September

That's a big improvement on the Swiss price for the Cohiba, think someone is overcharging! I'd add or month or two on to those estimates from experience. I'll let you know when I find them in Mr Franks.

I've just seen the weekend mail from CGars, hadn't quite realised the price of HURLE's ?17.99 !!! a stick, I'd thought about picking up a couple to try but think I might wait til I get to GIB again!

What I can't work out is how they are 3 quid more than last years short piramide?

?17.99 for a robusto does seem a bit steep, especially given the mixed reviews that this stick has been getting. To be honest, there are other cigars that I'd rather have for that price.

Each year I am less and less bothered by EL's. IMHO most of them are confused/ruined by over-strong maduro wrappers. If you want Upmann robusto's buy the Royals. Go to Ajay and he has original release, cheaper then these EL's and almost certainly a better smoke.

hey crusse, let me put you in the picture........ a partagas D4 is ?17.99 in northern ireland's ONLY habanos 'specialist'..... a CoRo is ?22...... that's when they have them in stock!!!! guess you guys are lucky living on the mainland, where a delivery from c.gars, ajay etc is an overnight affair!!!
