Smoked the freshies at office herf today, we asked the roller to make mas fuerte robustos and these are absolutely the bomb- not for the novice. Great smokes, strong, sweet and complex.
I've just smoked one of these babies fresh of her bench at the Montague this evening and they are great, draw is fantastic (she is an old traditional roller rolling each leaf into a separate roll) and the fact that they don't go into a press makes them a real easy draw.
As Mitch says quite punchy but not mind blowing.
I'd grab one or two quick if you aren't going to see her in action somewhere on her travels.
Just left jjs about half hour ago, picked up a couple of the boli britanicas, a 1999 vr famosos at the chaps recommendation, and two fresh off the table robustos, might even get a chance for one tonight!
there is no other cigar like just fresh off the roller, we can all talk about how this or that cigar will smoke with age, but a fresh cigar is somehow different
Saw her today at Goodwood festival of speed. Brilliant roller! She was also repairing and re-labelling a few smokes with cracked wrappers.. Couldn't tell the difference!
