Have any of you got any of these in storage at the minute, reasonably recent production?.If so what thoughts would you be able to offer?.Been looking a bit closer at the CG vitola and these look a likely candidate

Hi Vortigan, finally managed to find time to smoke one last weekend. It was my first SLR and i bought it blind but i must say its a really pleasant smoke. Construction was great and its a ABR '11 box. Medium bodied smoke for me with hints of cedar and coffee at times. Sweet flavors throughout like a sort of choco sweetness. For such a young cigar i didn't detect any form of harshness through the nose even till the end which i was kind of expecting it should have. Finish on this particular stick was amazing...a really long finish. Read somewhere that these will get better with age so i am guessing it will be some time before i touch them again. Cant provide much useful input but if not getting a box at least get some singles. Just to add, you were right on the RASS, great cigars worthy of the hype they are getting.
Thanks my friend,I appreciate your input. It certainly sounds like something I'll enjoy. The only SLR I've had to date was a couple of PC's a few years back and they were very good. It's good to hear that you enjoyed the RASS too,you certainly picked up a beautiful looking box

Maybe if u get your hands on some you can share some notes here. Seems like the serie a isnt so popular around here compared to the mag 46 which i think are wonderful smokes as well.
