Is it not the case with tobacco that you are dealing with a living organism which is subject to change with variables such as weather.
I make whisky for a living and many factors determine the process such as weather during raising the crop, yeast culture, water and the malting process. There are many parameters that must be constantly adjusted in order to achieve the final outcome.
