Are all Cuban cigars made in the same factory?

This video shows how Cigars are made. At 3:55 a look into the Conditioning Room, and there looks to be several brands (Cohiba, Montecristo) being conditioned there. Why is that? Isn't each brand supposed to have its own factory?

It isn't like that, for example if there is a short fall in supply of say Trinidad robustos a message will go out to other factories to make them. So you can have the Partagas, El Laguito, H.Upmann, RyJ and La Corona factories all rolling Trinidad robustos that day.

Each brand has it's own factory but Cuba is communist and works for the greater good of the cigar smoker. I'm sure Karl Marx came up with the communist mannifesto whilst sitting in a cigar lounge in London comtemplating socialisim over a Cuban cigar!

Not at all…
Only a few big labels had their factories… Cohiba, Partagas, Upmann, RyJ, plus ERDM, JLPiedra in the past… There is no Montecristo factory;
The Partagas D4, Monte 2, Monte 4 are rolled EVERYWHERE in the Island…

so, the more popular Cubans are rolled in all factories, and the less popular, larger/different cubans are rolled in select factories?

The Lancero's (Cohiba and Trinidad) are apparently only rolled at El Lagito but I wouldn't bet money on this being consistent. Apart from that there will be a lot a variables.

I know of some collectors that look for certain factories and periods of time, for instance the Partagas factory from 09-10 apparently has been producing great cigars across several marcas.

I know of some who only want box dates for a given month of the year.

Of course some may well say this is all a crock of sh1t

I was there last week and saw D4's being rolled in the Romeo Juileta factory, which had the H Upmann staff in there. Its where ever has space i guess, the Partagas factory was closed for some work to be done and from what i gather the El Laguito was only making BHK and Robustos at the moment i think.

Romoes are now made in the La Corona factory, a little confusing but im sure it all works.

No because each brand and vitola has a bundle of tobacco made up to match its particular profile and size.

Of course we do see the loss of individual blend identity for several reasons.
1. There are only so many master blenders, this is much of an art as a science and humans are not consistent.
2. There is only so much raw material, if they don't have the exact leaves they want for an R and J one would imagine they will use a compromise rather than miss production targets.
3. Blends are subjective and will vary over time (very hard to have a constant reference. This is Cuba not Nestle).
4. ...all the factors I haven't listed.

I am also pretty sure there have been times when the same stick has worn many different bands.
