  • El Rey del Mundo Demi Tasse

Well its been a while but yesterday I finally got round to trying my first Cuban. Which I purchased while out at Davidoff in London.

Being a complete cigar newbie and having nothing to compare it to, I am not going to attempt to review it, but it will suffice to say that i really did enjoy it! especially with the pint i had at the Red Lion just around the corner from the shop. About 30 mins of smoking pleasure.

It is also worth mentioning that the service at Davidoff was exceptional, the assistant kindly cut the cigar for me and asked if I wished to smoke it at the shop, but as my girlfriend was with me I thought Ii would quit while I was ahead and get us both some drinks in .

Deffo looking forward to my next smoke, and when I get round to getting a humidor would love to have a box of demi tasse for some quick enjoyable smokes.

Good choice on a starter cuban anything by ERDM is a good start and i do just love my demi tasses real nice morning smoke same goes for the ERDM choix supreme which i suggest you try too.

Davidoff is pretty good though i suggest visiting JJ Foxs too they are just a short walk from each other and both have real good service and i like the chairs in foxs.

PS. Just because you have nothing to compare it to dosnt mean you shouldn't try reviewing it its not a exact science after all.

Good choice on the ERDM DT. Got one left of four sitting in the humi ready for a sunny summers day. Then I will have none left and I'll be sad.

Thanks for the advice I will give Choix Supreme a go. I did walk past jj fox and did think about it but i dont think my girl would let me in two cigar shops in one day especially in the space of 5 mins lol.

I know this sounds dumb but i didnt expect it to last that long, so any cigar bigger is going to be a experience for me lol.

          thanks guys

Great choice for your first Cuban! And nice choice of pub too, it's an OK one to stand outside with a pint and smoke...

Congrat's on your first Havana, welcome to the club! This was a great choice for your first & will be memorable as a fine smoke & possibly the cheapest Havana your likely to have; it's only gonna get more expensive from now on!

I get sad if I've only a box left. These really improve massively with age, but finding an 'aged' box is always difficult. 20 years to get to their best, so a 'sleeping' box of these is never a bad thing to have.
If you want to, you can.

Things couldn't get much worse Arf! Had a look on CGars and SimplyCigars and can't find the Demi Tasse on either sites. Even Google shopping is not finding anything!

I would advise anyone to if they can. Habanos can't be trusted where smaller vitola are concerned and I wouldn't be surprised if these aren't deleted sooner or later!

Agreed it's really annoying that almost all smell panatela/ long skinny sizes are being phased out for short stubbys like petite robustos and the like.

But as these are only about hmm my keyboard dosnt have a euro symbol still about 55 euros for 25 in Spain means it wont be hard to stock up for the mean time.

This is how rumors start. I don't see the demi tasse been axed when this cigar has a following in Spain and France and probably several other countries…
