Just smoked a PSDN4 from August 11, after only a week humi time since i got them. It reminded why it is my favourite cigar. Absolute perfection.

Had one yesterday (2010) .. Liquorice, Creamy and Nutmeg finish
Loved it.
Having a (2009) today Cloves Creamy Earthy loving this one too

I'm gonna have to have another today too. I knew I liked them but my experience last night it was like a light switch going on for my taste buds. I need to find other cigars with a similar flavour profile because it's everything I want in a cigar.

Just earlier smoked one of the D4's motormaj sent me in his quitting sale. He guessed that they were from 09, which i would believe as the one i had before that had 6 months on it i found to be so-so, whereas this one was fantastic. Had it down by the river in the sun, and got it all the way down to an inch before it started going bitter.

How would you guys say the PSD4 compares to the PSP2 flavour wise. I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on some P2's based on how much I love the SD4.

I've had one or 2 in the past but it was a few years ago and can't really remember.

In my opinion, the D4 is a little stronger and far more complex, whereas the P2 is smoother, with a more balanced taste which is more uniform down the stick. Gun to my head i would opt for the P2 but it's whichever mood you're in.

Slightly different now to what they were on first release, used to be full of toasted marshmallow and creamy
IMO a bit more Oomph added to it now, still a must have in the Humi

I just smoked a PSDN4, not the best one i've had, very average in terms of what i've smoked before.
I do like them very much, but the PSPN2 i had a few weeks ago was better imo.
Not sure why??
But the robusto size is just not doing it for me at the moment.
So there going to the back of the humi, till summer.....

I was away for a week and I bought 2 more boxes on my return to the UK. PSDN4 is a great cigar...

Smoked one from my 2008 box yesterday and it was fantastic. I have noticed over the last 6 months the burn is far more regular and its defo more creamy and a lot of vanilla. I didnt need to touch up the burn at all and i was smoking under a celing fan in the club and it stayed lit all the way through. Excellent choice for those who have not tried one.
