Decided to invest in a box of these-looking forward to trying them over the weekend but I think I'll take the advise of others and not try them on an empty stomach

I went through quite a few single D4s when I first got into cigars and I remember having a different experience with almost every one so I could never justify buying a box. I find Shorts and P2s much more consistent so they have become my 'go to' Partagas sticks.

PSDN4 is one of my faves. Got a box on it's way to me right now...can't wait!

I've had much better experience with the newer PSDn4s with the 2010,11 boxes being stand out fresh cigars, that I think will age very well.

Love the PSDN4, however the last stick i had, a week or two ago was super plugged, and it was the first stick out of a fresh box, not a good start...

PSDN4,s are my current favourites , everyone had gone on about them being good ect , so I was a bit dubious but have to say they are my current favourite smoke

Did you smoke it on a empty stomach as i did that once on a beautiful morning and ended up having a terrible afternoon.

I did this yesterday, my first morning cigar with a coffee, and felt terrible all afternoon! Will be having a big fry up before I try a morning cigar again!

Yeah the strongest smoke i will go in the morning is a ERDM choix supreme because the nick sick feels great.

Not me. I don't get on with them at all. Not a big fan of the Shorts either if I'm honest.

Well I had 2 of them over the weekend and have to say they are among the best Cubans I've had. I found them strong but they have a great draw and burn and really hit the back of the throat [in a nice way!] 2 down-23 to go

I got 5 new PSDN4s from (ok i cant remember sorry dude gin is a harsh mistress) but ill be trying one tomorrow so lets see if its the cigar being inconsistent or me being a partagas whore.

There is nothing wrong with being a party whore, they have great smokes.

I still have 3 left from a NOV 2010 box, don't want to smoke them and then they are gone. I can't make up my mind!

I don't smoke D4's anymore. Great a few years back... loved them to death, however never hit the heights for me anymore. However one or two people say they're starting to get better. So maybe in a few months, I will revisit one.

They are definetely not consistent but always worth giving a chance
