Trinidad robusto T more than Cohiba Robusto's

I love the Trinidad range (besides the short robusto T), the reyes is my favourite PC, robusto T is my favourite robusto and the robusto extra (for the price but not altogether) is my go to "Big stick".

but why is the robusto T more expensive than the cohiba robusto's? if the robusto T didnt come in a box of 12 and just 25's like the cohiba, id be getting the cohibas all day long, i love the trinidad range but i think there price points on a few of their sticks need re examining, anyone agree or disagree?

Apparently that's the reason the Robusto T and Robusto Extra are being discontinued. There are changes coming to the Trinidad marca.

Thats interesting to know i didnt no they were being discontinued (excuse the noob!!). yes it must be the reason and its the exact same reason i dont touch the short robusto T's because the price point on those i feel is pretty ridiculous (again only comes in boxes of 10 or 12 cnt remember)

Habanos SA sets the prices, not "the Trinidad brand"… The people in charge of the brands/labels have nothing to do with the pricing…

It's a shame they prefer to discontinue a good cigar rather than lower its price ...

The price is the reason i dont buy either of them and just stick to RASS and upmann connie 1s or just go all in and buy a robusto extra.

Trinidad make some good cigars. The fundadores and Robusto extra are favorites. I know the reyes are well liked on here too. Real shame to see the robusto extra go but I guess the premium price didnt attract the casual cohiba punters as hoped.

I love the Trini range but grudge the prices. For a lot less than a Robusto T you can get corkers like JL2 and RASS which are of similar calibre
