  • Partagas P-2

    Hello Gentlemen,
I am new, so may well be wrong, but I notice that the Partagas P 2 is a delicious smoke that is barely ever mentioned in these erudite pages.
I personally find it to be a rich, complex and beautifully made cigar. Am I in a minority here?

Not at all, it's probably the Partagas that I've smoked the most of. Just bought another 10 box the other day

This is all great to hear. Alex, how long do you keep them for? If I bought a box now, how long do you reckon I should wait before they bloom? or is it a case of how long is a piece of string?

generally, i find them good to go if they've roughly a year on them already!! i reckon 2010s should be good at the mo, same i guess as 2011s......

as a further point, i find them better than monte 2's and almost as good as bolivar belicosos finos! also, i'd say, if you got 'em, smoke 'em!

          hope this helps,

          alex

My new box is fron January this year. If I get impatient and crack them open I might do a little write up.

I've mentioned the P2 about 100 times on here, so you didn't search all that much!

Apologies Deano, my only excuse is do you have any idea how many hits you get if you search for Partagas? My bad.

No Yeti, that's the P1, that's like a short pyramid, the P2 is the standard #2 size (monte#2 for example), standard release.

The P1 does rock though (love my shiny black and gold jar!!)
