I wonder how much European confectionery finds it way into America. Fair chance that the sugar inside was grown you know where!
Now, if only Fidel would give me the leaves, and kind Mr Cameron the grant to set up a rolling factory in Halifax! If you want to, you can.
And, if you can, you must!

The irony with that story is that they think they have the legal use of the name that they are copying from the cuban company. So if it was a real cohiba then it would still be illegal due to the name (even if the embargo was lifted). Are you all confused enough? The new charity auction: http://www.ukcigarforums.com/showthr...lighter-raffle

So, I finally managed to pull some photos from my camera, so you can all have a look at the sinister cigar that is...El Fakeo.
For some reason my camera did want to take the best shoots, so I apologise if there isnt as much detail as I would like. You can see the band discrepancies in the shoots, with the top one stating it is a Serie D No. 2, and the bottom that it is a EL 2010...which we all know now, cant be true. Looking at the bands closer, you can see how they just dont align properly. The red band from the inside, looks like it was letterpressed, so maybe this one is real. The bottom one however, is completely uneven. I tried to show in one of the pictures, how the black rim at the top of the band was so much thicker, than that at the bottom. Ive also tried to show a couple of shots of the cap, so show just how dodgy it looked, and how uneven it seems to be attached. I can't imagine anyone in cuba taking pride in that.
Smelling it again now, it is a shame, as it does actually smell pretty good. Much better than all the NCs I brought home with it. I dont think I will smoke it though, I just dont think it would do the Partagas line justice. I think I might just use it to infuse some maple syrup lol.
