  • Saint Luis Rey Churchill

Does anyone have an opinion on these as I just did a swap for some and don't know what they're like.

    Thank you, James

They're usually mild, complex with unique flavours and have a history of construction issues (unfortunatly). When they're "on" and well rolled they can be fantastic, and again, completely different from the other cuban churchills.

I had one only last Saturday. Aged since 2001.

I actually found that despite its age, it was a little harsh. It also wanted to go out every two minutes. However, this one was rolled during a time when Cubans were known to be notoriously inconsistent.

Generally they are pretty well thought of. [see below]

Yea, taste is all personal anyway. They're just a tad big for me in general but as you said earlier you may give me a few different ones anyway. Can't wait to get your delivery! Still waiting for my delivery from the stick a stick in round 3 too so the humi looks a bit bare right now

They're quite an acquired taste but the fans rave about them. I've tried most of the range: Serie A, Regios, churchill, DC and haven't got on with any of them. Hope you like them more than I did.

Only had the serie A from the range and absolutely love them, going to move onto the regios next.

From what I hear the churchills and especially the DCs are supposed to be very nice as well.

The petit coronas on the other hand dont get such favourable reviews.

Ok, I'll try them and see what I think. If they're not to my liking then they'll be swapping homes again
