Yes. Because a die-hard collector has no intention of smoking them ..... only possessing them.

There is also the fact that a sealed box is more likely to contain original cigars, as described on the outside of the box. This has become more of an issue recently with many fake, unboxed "vintage" Dunhills and Davidoffs circulating.
Newbie has the best of both worlds with one open box, allowing inspection of the cigars and one sealed. I presuming that both boxes are of the same vintage and have been under the same storage conditions.

Just noticed that Mitch seems to be auctioning both of these with an estimate of ?600 - 800 on the open box. Heaven knows what the unopened box would be worth!!

Anyone puzzled by the yellow silk (assumed) band that says "Private Stock" and also says "Cabinet" in what is patently not a cabinet but a dress box?
