Gents, if I'm reading this thread correctly I don't think the lady is trying to sell the cigars here but is seeking the correct direction on getting them valued, sold within the cigar collectors establishment and not being ripped off.
Never say never when it comes to old cigars. It's hard to tell how cigars are from pictures. Those may not have been in a humidor for years but often, in this part of the world (we don't live in a desert), cigars will survive just fine and can be brought back to perfectly smokeable condition with a little patience.
With all respect, those cigars with their age, condition of the box, insert etc. are definitely worth something to somebody.
As has been said, Mitch's auction is probably the best bet for these. RA Private Stock are not unheard of but are rare enough (I would doubt very much if Mitch has auctioned a box of these before) that an auction is probably your best bet at getting a fair price. Bear in mind you'll have to pay fees but Mitch has access to more potential buyers than you probably do.
Good luck, let us know how you get on.
Edit. By the way, if they are as dry as you say, don't handle the individual cigars, they'll damage very easily. Don't try to rehumidify them yourself, it's not a dark art but there is a little bit of a knack to it. Keep the box closed, in a ziplock bag and in a cool place in your house until you get them to whomever wants to buy them/sell them for you.
Mitch at cgars.co.uk and Ajay at havahavana.co.uk (la Casa de habanos in Teddington). You will then have an accurate market value. Nb - they may well need to see the cigars.
I wouldn't assume they are expired or otherwise and i wouldn't sell them (if they were mine) without consulting as above.
Hope this is helpful.

Little medical correction there Steve, you will surely die...but not from smoking these
Sorry, just realised you have one sealed box and one opened. Leave the seal intact. These are certainly worth hundreds of pounds, how many hundreds depends on the day. If there are stamps on the bottom of the box, do they say "Made in Havana, Cuba" or "Hecho en Cuba"? If "Hecho en Cuba", it means they were made after 1963 or thereabouts, post embargo. It may seem odd but 1960s post embargo cigars will often sell for more than pre.

I'm rarely glad to live in damp old England but that might change!
Thanks for your advice Ryan, will do as you suggest.

Thanks monkey. If my father needs to come up to Teddington I'll probably get lunch out of it, too, though I was rather hoping for dinner at Boisdales. Either way, result!
Happy to offer free valuation and advice as ever sales@cgarsltd.co.uk may well be worth ?1000 + for full box but need to examine obviously
Best
Mitch
Mitch - will die-hard collectors buy these without opening them to check the condition? Is the collectibility in the fact that it's a complete sealed box regardless of condition?
