    Large Ring Gauge Recommendations

    Hi all,

    First post here, so hope I am in the right section. I am fairly new to cigar smoking, and have picked the bug up from my dad who is a cigar smoke of 40 years or so.

    He is a big Montecristo fan, so subsequently I have had a dabble in their range.

    I have been trying as many different cigars as I can, and the only thing I do feel strongly about is that I prefer a larger ring gauge,

    I have a soft spot for the Hoyo de Monterrey Petit Robusto and every one I have had has been perfect.

    I went to my local cigar shop today and left with a montecristo petit edmundo to try.

    I have had an El Rey of a similar size and was underwhelmed.

    Can anybody throw some recommendations my way? Preferably a petit version of around 4inches in length.

    Have a look at this sampler http://www.cgarsltd.co.uk/robustoher...er-p-3632.html. Its a Robusto sampler so will be good for you, also, go on the sponsors website (cgarsltd) there's a link at the top of the page and you can select cigars by ring gauge, brand, cuban or non cuban, length, everything basically> Plus they are the best for selection and overall a lot cheaper than anywhere else in the UK

                  As soon as I hit submit I knew I'd made a mistake.
