  • Habanos 2011 EDICION LIMITADA & New Releases

Seems that the outstanding 2011 EL's and new releases are due very soon. Just spotted the latest round of press releases on the Habanos website:

    Cohiba 1966: http://www.habanos.com/article.aspx?aid=488
    Ramon Allones Allones Extra: http://www.habanos.com/article.aspx?aid=491
H.Upmann Royal Robusto (LCDH Only): http://www.habanos.com/article.aspx?aid=485

And the ones we'd previously seen:
Hoyo de Monterrey Short Pyramides: http://www.habanos.com/article.aspx?aid=484
    Partagas Serie D No.5: http://www.habanos.com/article.aspx?aid=487
    Partagas Serie E No.2: http://www.habanos.com/article.aspx?aid=483

    ------------------------

It's the Allones Extra that are probably the most appealing to me, the 44 ring gauge is a lovely size. Keen to find out how they smoke...

Nice one Will. That's the first time I've seen quality pics of the RA. They look magic and I reckon will be the most reasonably priced. I imagine the Cohiba will be terrifyingly expensive

Hallelujah, I couldn't agree with you more about the RA and the 44 rg. I have been called old fashioned in my time but I really don't find a lot of these larger sizes that appealing, so it is nice to see a LE come out that actually makes me want to go and try it.

      Cheers.

Count me in for a couple of boxes of the RA too. Really love the brand and that size will be a nice change addition to my smoking line up.

Thanks for the info, that rules the Cohibas out of my purchasing plan!

I'll certainly be getting a box of the RA Extra and maybe some of the Upmann Robustos and Hoyo Piramdes.

Nice one smallclub. Cohiba's aren't as expensive as I thought they'd be, but I expect the prices to be even more in the UK.

Really interested in the RAAELE (a new acronym for ya) and the Partagas'. And the HdM. Ok so all of them.

UK prices are MUCH higher! I'd say 30% higher, in the best cases…

                        Cohiba Robusto:
                        Germany 17€
                        UK 18.29? = 21€

Looks like Germany (the same as Italy) has a small difference between the D4 and the E2 ...are H and F sticking us with disproportionate pricing on the E2? Clicky...

This might have something to do with UK duty being calculated by weight. I don't think Germany or Italy use weight for the tax calc...
