I know, is it against the rules to say which country though? I know websites outside of the UK are against the rules, wasn't sure if countries were though.

Yep the Guantanameras are not worth bothering with, at least in my experience anyway. Jose L Piedra CAN be a nice smoke but they are very inconsistent from stick to stick.

Another cheap option are Fonseca delicias, sweet and woody flavours and not half bad for the price. They are hand made but with short filler so although you get the cuban flavour you dont get the depth that you would from more expensive smokes.

At best, aged PLPCs can deliver strong flavors of wild honey (no the cheap white supermarket honey), along with notes of flowers, nuts, toasts, spices…
They're delicious, but it takes them ages to get to this point…
        Taste is subjective...

I've found caramel in numerous cigars: PL RDL, BHK 52, 08 Partagas Lusis and 07 Siglo IVs

I ended up buying a few packs of Monte Puritos (I like to have a quick smoke between lectures at university, these seem like a great choice for that), I picked up a few Boli's but I couldn't help myself.. I went back to the shop the following day for a few more sticks. I purchased a Boli Corona, a few JC's, El Rey CS and I decided to take another Trinny Reyes. I'm hoping to get some Partagas SDN4's and/or H.Upman Mag 46 (they only had a 5 pack in store though ) but I'm going to age a few of my Bolivars.

When I get some funds in (12th Sept) I'll buy a a few SDN4's and Mag 46's. Thanks for your input, Captain, I really appreciate the advice.

Again, the customer service of The Bear Shop in Cardiff was top notch.

I've just come back from menorca. ?40 is a fairly normal price for JLP's. I was thinking of the journey to Gib as a pose to ordering from oversea.
It aint where ya from, its where ya at!

No problemo, you're only a few years or so behind where I am now so it's always good to pass on info, especially when it comes to sidestepping pitfalls etc You're really lucky tp have a B&M near you, it's a deadland near me, not even our waitrose stock cubans and they normally have at the very least punch punch tubos

If you ever need a brain to pick give me a shout, probably easier to do it on my youtube channel as I don;t think I have reached the member level here to send PMs

I'm heading into town tomorrow, I'm hoping to buy a H.U Conny 1 and perhaps a Monte and some more Boli's too. If anybody has recommendations, I'd love to hear them.

Am I right in thinking you're back off to Uni in Bristol next week? If you can't find them in the Bear Shop, gimme a yell and I'll see what I've got stashed away.
                        I'm on Facebook too.

Going back tomorrow mate, I want to change course so I'm having a meeting with the Dean to say my reasons why, it's moving to a similar course where only one module changes, hopefully it won't be too much trouble. Thanks for the offer, Dave, I really appreciate it! I don't use Facebook, I would have added you otherwise

Have you been in the Bear Shop recently? Was gutted to find out they have no Conny 1's or Mag 46s .

Yeah I recently tried to get a Conny 1 and was sorely disappointed. Perhaps I should ask Paresh to get some in?

Oh BTW, the JLP Petit Cazadores are well good for the money IMO. Pick some up if you're in Spain, at about a Euro each.
