The people who have been raving about them have been saying that they don't really come good until they have at least 5 years on them, similar to Por Larranaga. I'm assuming that caramel is one of the flavours that really needs some time to develop.

That would be a plan. I smoked and Reviewed one recently and thought it a pretty decent smoke. I wouldn't buy a box though, but I would buy a box of the Panatelas which I consider to be far superior.
