Our trip to Gib...

...Jimmeh, Big_T_UK and I recently went on an adventure to Gib, to visit the fine Casa del Habanos of Stagnetto's.

Weather was great except for one drizzly day, but the cigar smoking was even better.

I think I slightly preferred the varnished, I (and Jimmeh) didn't rate the flavour of the unvarnished that much - oddly.

Bought back the new H Upmann Noella jar, 25 Partagas Lustianias and (using half of Jimmeh's allowance) 25 Bolivar Belicosos Finos from 2001, which are AMAZING.

The Noellas are a great smoke and the jars look good in a humidor

Did the 8-9-8's have any age on them? I've found the varnished fades a wee bit & the unvarnished comes into it's own.
I'm a great fan of the 'little' brother.
