Sadly no smoking indoors anywhere, not even the cigar shops but this place has a heated smoking area as far as I know:

The cigar shop in rose street in new town is the best in my opinion. Good stock and There's also one on the royal mile but with very limited stock

Bow bar just off the royal mile is the place for scotch, and the blue blazer on cowgate has a GREAT rum selection! Enjoy!

Hotel du Vin indeed does have a great smoking shack but you will need your long Johns on still as the heater is more show in this cold weather...

I am working on the the overheads below the castle on new years eve so smoke a decent one for me too bud...

I wouldn't miss a wee visit to the Cigar Box on the Royal Mile. Always a very freindly shop and it did win Habanos retailer of the year from Hunters & Frankau this year.
