Off here for a few days in the New Year and wondering if anyone can recommend anywhere for a cigar?

Not sure how warm it’s going to be outside so a lounge would be preferred.

Also, has anyone been lately and knows if there’s any CCs in the shops please ?

I’ll report back on stock / airport stock when I return.

      Thanks Simon.

Sadly no time for fishing but think I’ve found a couple of lounges.

Will report back when I return.

        Smoking:
Everywhere you go is very smoker friendly. Pretty much every restaurant has a terrace / outdoor area and I’d say 50% of people were smoking (ciggys).

I was the only one smoking cigars but noone seemed to be bothered by them. I was picky about where I sat as was conscious of smoke wafting into people’s faces who were eating.

        B&M Outlets:
I only had the opportunity to go to one shop but it was a specialist Off License with premium alcohol brands and a walk in humidor.

They had Cubans and the pricing was pretty good IMO. They had stacks of the usual Cohiba / Trinidad’s but also 50 or so boxes of the following:
        Partagas D4 (€595 x25)
        HdeM (various)
        Upmann M46
        Cuaba Excusivo (€460 x25) (Tradicionales (€364 x25)
        RJ (various)

Lovely walk in humidor with a great selection of accessories / ashtrays. Also lots of non-Cubans which they were looking to cut down on as they were carrying too much of a varied range.

He said that CC stock has been good of late but the new “Track & Trace” system that has been introduced has slowed down the distribution of tobacco products to a snails-pace. He has ordered 30,000 sticks and still awaiting delivery from months ago.

        More info here: https://www.esta.be/track-and-trace/

This is the place I went to - it’s a 5-minute drive from Sliema:
        Charles Grech Liqour Store
        Triq il-Wied,
        L-Imsida,
        Malta.

        Duty Free:
        A few Oliva samplers.

          Great update gav_sw20 thanks.

Those pesky cigarette smokers are like mosquitoes. Just get rid of them and we'll have no issues as an endangered species.
