Evening all, my brother lives in Melbourne, but is possibly coming over for a visit next year. They usually do a round the world trip, visiting his wife's family in North Carolina on the way. If I was able to purchase some cigars from a retailer across the pond and have them shipped to the NC address, would there be any issues with him bringing them to the UK for me? I might be able to get their full allowance so 100 in total?

Fill their boots!
Don't think I'll go for anything too fancy/expensive, maybe 25 for special occasions & 75 for every day smokes
Any suggestions?

You don't need to declare anything as long as you're within the rules. I bring cigars in as hand luggage when convenient because there's less throwing around. But I've also put them in suitcase without issue if cigars are in original full boxes or in a suitable container and not floating about inside!
As for recommendations, that's the hard part! I'm not au fait with many NC cigars. I'd suggest the AF short story, the Fabrica5 Fat Fundy or Ninfas, Illusione Epernay. There are threads dedicated to suggestions somewhere....--
I think I may finally have this CAD under control...
