Gesto prices are online. They also have stuff not listed online.

Few of us have just booked flights for a smash and grab in Geneva on Monday 30th September. RobustoClubHavana has just started a separate thread on the forum.

0730 out from Luton, 1645 return.

Small update on my thoughts so far..

USA. Not really a day/short trip destination, but certainly worth grabbing what you can if you're on holiday there, especially if you are travelling as a group. For the cost of the airfare you would get hit a similar amount for import duty & taxes although this is entirely dependant on how much you order (where there is no 'personal allowance' you need to abide by). You could order 3,4,500 if you like although the only savings are shipping costs generally.
          • Pros - Prices considerable cheaper than the UK, and in a lot of cases Europe as well. Very large selection, but of course no Cubans (or not many)
          • Cons - Expensive air fare which negates some or all of the savings. Little to no Cubans available.

Europe. Cheap return airfares can be found (as seen above regarding the day trip to Geneva) and I'm guessing you can pre-order cigars to confirm availability. Good prices and a large selection available (from all regions)
          • Pros - Accessible & relatively cheap flights (if you can find them, which you can). An enjoyable day out if you take the significant other, whilst also muling them out to be able to use their allowance
          • Cons - not many, apart from only 50 sticks per person.

Spain has similar travel costs to Geneva, and prices are very good, but you run the risk of availability issues and actually running around to find the shops if they are low on stock, you'd need transport (moped/car/train) which can negate savings along with the airfare

I've read Gibraltar is good for a day trip. Interested to look into flights & stores. I would imagine most places would be walking distance from the airport

It's a great place for a day trip that's for sure but there's no cigars. I think they limit what you can buy to 3 sticks of what you want. Henrik?

Gib is not interesting any more, prices have risen dramatically since Hananos forced price alignment - a lot of ordinary stock is now more expensive than Spain and regionals/limitadas are same price as UK (dictated by H&F)
No limits - you can buy if they have on shelf. My daughter just brought me a box of Escogidos, hard to find and they had one box.

Is stock low in general? The guys who went to Geneva recently said there wasn't a great amount there?
