Anyone been through the airport recently?
Last I'd read it was slim pickings. My last time through I managed to get some nice aged boxes and the Davidoff Dubai.
Was there yesterday. I asked if they had any cigars in the whole airport and the guy said 'cigarellos only over there' so I left. I'm gonna check out the lcdh - apparently it's decent, but pricey. Will report back.
Cheers
That's a shame - each terminal seemed to have a cigar shop when I was last through....that is about 5 years ago though :/
I'll check on the way back. I was tired and the missus was hungry on the way in so we didn't press the matter having been told no, didn't even enter the tobacco section.

Well dubai downtown lcdh (as opposed to the one of Jumeirah Beach Resort which I haven't visited yet) has only cohiba siglos and monte number 5s at like £20 a stick, and some arturo fuentes and Alec Bradleys at £30-40 a stick. He said more stock was coming. Sure, but when. The guy was nice, small lounge, but meh, you can smoke anywhere hear so why be inside.
Didn't make it to the other lcdh unfortunately but the airport is slim pickings Cubans wise. Cohiba siglos 1s and Trinidad reyes I think - small guage anyway, not many. Padrons and davidoffs aplenty though. Scored these for £180 which seems reasonable.
