Has anyone been to Austria in the last couple of years and can confirm that prices are still as friendly as reported by Monty Cristo in 2011? My youngest is off to Vienna in a couple of weeks and is happy to pick up a box for his old dad. I've already researched where to go but they don't appear to have web pages.

John...I was there about 5 years ago and there were only a few places worth visiting TBH. Prices were on a par with Germany thus quite a bit cheaper than the UK
There's a nice shop in the train station on the top floor (I found a half box of Cohiba 1966).
There's a LCDH called Hazar IIRC. Decent selection and the owner knows his stuff
I think Austria is part of 5te Avenida's patch so you might find some of the REs (doubtful though)
I found one other shop in the city centre in the main shopping area but I can't remember the name... Sorry. It had a very good selection and a few ELs (Mag56 and RA Club Allones) so hopefully your son can find some ELs for you
