playa del ingles

Hi guys,

First post and i need some help. Im going to playa del ingles for a week in a couple of days and was wondering if anyone knows of a good cigar store there?

By any chance is it like eg Santa Ponza where there are dedicated Tabac stores? Any help would be thoroughly appreciated.

Hi, probably a good idea to go to 'newbie greets' and introduce yourself a little.

There is plenty of shops there that sell cigars, although I didn't buy any from them as they all looked far too neglected. There is a casa del habanos at the north of canaria. If you don't fancy travelling that far, just load up at the airport.

Thanks for the help, i'll probably just pick up a few in the airport, seems like the best option as i wont have much time to travel outside of playa del ingles.

I seem to remember buying some from one of the indoor market type places in Playa del Ingles but I couldn't tell you where, sorry. They were real Cubans too, not fakes. The airport was crap for sticks when I was there (2007).
