Not so much a request for information as offering my services, for a change! I spent last weekend visiting Aachen and Cologne (school trip with forty kids in tow, so not entirely peaceful). When I got a moment to myself, I had a little explore and stumbled across a lovely shop called Pfeifen Schneidewind.
The shop has got two beautiful window displays; one for pipes and one for cigars. I speak no German, other than a few essentials (which does make taking me on a school trip to Germany an interesting choice), but the service was magnificent. With a little pidgin German and some rather better English from a nice gentleman behind the counter, I picked up a box of ten cigars with the shop's own branding on them. I haven't had the chance to try one yet, but I shalll keep you informed.
A large selection of NCs, a few CC and a huge variety of pipes and pipe tobacco make this place well worth a visit!
