Seems incredable to find such age on the shelf but I have been told that the Spanish like 'fresh cigars' & don't want boxes with years on them, hence you can still find them with far greater age than other European countries.
However my advice would be to open them in the shop once you have paid for them & then you can swap them if mouldy or signs of infestation; to late to complain when you get home!

Great find....totally agree with Simon there....have opened a few in Spain and they were infested with little beetle holes
