So, have booked a couple of days in Milan for MLW birthday celebrations. Anyone been before and have experience of the cigar buying opportunities out there ?

Yes, I was there in March. I only made it to Noli cigar shop near the Duomo. Okay selection, nothing special. I bought a box of the LGC Invictos Italian regional but they turned out to be well over priced compared to what some others on here seemed to be getting them for in other parts of Italy. With hindsight I would have been better seeking out the LCDH there and that's what I'd recommend you do if you can. That said, the shopping arcade where Noli is based, I think it's called Vittorio Emanuel II, is quite spectacular.
