Heard that when DXB do have Cubans in stock they are restricting passengers to a single purchase regardless of your personal allowance (x50 for UK). A single purchase can be a box or a single cigar apparently so that’s good news.
I’m passing through there en route to Thailand in a few weeks and fear I may be taking sticks with me for my holiday vs. picking some up at DXB
On a separate note I emailed Duty Free a few weeks with no response which probably backs up the above comments.
Plenty of New Worlds and Davidoff in all DXB Duty Free terminals but only the following Cubans:
Trinidad - Reyes 24's = £606
Trinidad - La Trova 24's = £760

Was that flying in or out? I'm sure they have a 100/% tax when flying in to DXB
