I took a selection of the nicest I have and stocked up at Miami Airport. Prices at the airport were steeper than what you usually pay in the US.

    Day 1
A nice cao Flathead. Beautiful cigar. Tons of flavour and lots of chestnut notes.

    Day 2
Maximus. A strong cigar but very interesting and keeps your attention.

    Day 3
Diamond Crown. I had one of these years ago and loved it. This time I am rather disappointed. Flavour is not clear and rather boring. Won't buy these again...

More interesting ones are to come.

I will try to keep you up to date with what I found to purchase in costa rica. So far I have only seen some in a supermarket. Some Cubans and costa Rican cigars, but they were not properly stored and looked rather bad.

      Oliva V Melanio Churchill

Easily one of the best cigars I had in a while. A blast of creamy flavour at the start, very mellow, but intense.

The flavour got more nutty in the middle and ended on a powerful blast, without ever getting peppery.

That Diamond Crown looks bloody awful, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a fake or badly stored

I have a couple of these in my collection for curiosity purposes, I cut one up and put a series of photos on here a few years ago

I will have to have a dig around the forum then, as this sounds very interesting

Link it when you find it please!

From about 7m50 he takes a knife to a fake cigar

Hmm... I thought as well that the wrapper does not look good. But I'd be surprised if the cigar shop at the airport was selling fakes. The other cigars from them taste great so far.

I've got a box of these and they are a nice premium Dominican, none of them look like that.
