Hello mate, that would be my approach too, not cubans to buy there but a huge variety of things to do with the local tobacco, it is a great opportunity.

As you are going to LA ROMANA you have there Tabacalera de Garcia Factory Tour (La Romana)

AURORA CIGARS, at la Aurora cigars you can visit the factory, tell them TURIN sends you, they may even let you roll a cigar. Gustavo Velayos may be a great ambassador. They have good cigars, the new ADN seems to be good, and the old AURORA 100 anos is great.

You also can rent a HARLEY to do a day in the island which I would recommend with NACHO MAHOU, great journalist who is living there now.

You also have a MR HENKEL who has DAVIDOFF running for decades who shows the place, and many more.
