I lived in Playa Blanca for a little while. If you're up by Las Coloradas, there's a Ropa supermarket there which has a nice little jumi with a good stock of cubans. Only individuals and 3/5 packs usually, although once I saw 25 ct boxes of HUHCs
Most of the supermarkets have a small, but good stock. I never really found a decent Tabac there though - you'd have to head to Arrecife for that

I went to Lanzarote in October, stayed in Playa del Carmen. Saw many little shops and supermarkets with fairly decent selections of local and Cuban cigars but couldn't vouch for the storage conditions - saw one humidor sitting in plain sun!
I went to a decent tobacconist in Arrecife but left empty handed as they wouldn't permit me to inspect any boxes, despite some clear water damage on the box.
A real shame as they had a lot of pre-2010 boxes.

Well just to update anyone who is interested. The cigar shopping is not great. There were lots of 'dry' cigars which looked local. The one or two shops that were selling CC were not storing them in a humidor so gave them a bit of a wide berth. Was resigned to not buying anything until I was strolling through the duty free at the airport. Whilst not the greatest selection, I did bag a cabinet of 25 HDM Oct 2016 Petit Robustos for nearly half what they would have cost in the UK."I know I said that I wouldn't buy more cigars for a while..........but these were a bargain !!"

Further update currently in lanzarote staying in matagorda of the few place close by a couple have small humidors with limited stock mainly RYJ, montecristo and partagas in tubos, for price comparison 5 RYJ n02 are around 25 euro. Now further a field on Google search you can find a shop called cigar world in Puerto del Carmen. Trust me cigar world it ain't. If I find anywhere else I'll update further.
