it does depend on how many cigars you will want to bring back from another EU country no limit Geneva as mentioned is only 50

something we may all have to get used to once we are out of the EU, brilliant!!

I looked at a few of my local shops and found them all very significantly more expensive than shops in Spain.. Maybe gesto is a lot cheaper but it's the opposite end of the country for me.

Unless they are cigar friends, that's fraught with risk. They'll either buy rubbish or at least not what you wanted. Suggest anyone trying gives them a list of 3 choices & if they don't have those, tell them not to buy anything as substitute or the salesman will flog them anything.
If they are cigar friends, of course, they'll be wanting to use the allowance for themselves.

I would highly recommend Amsterdam it's only an hour flight from the UK and there are some good stores. I have some friends going for one night in early December but you could easily fly out early and come bak late. Public transport is excellent.

Agree Amsterdam is nice but not really that cheap when compared to spain. Go for the brownies instead...

This is the government's site for Spain which includes pricing:

Just ignore the prices with CM next to them as they are the prices for Ceuta and Melilla.
