    A cigar wasteland.... bring your own. Thankfully I knew this before coming back. High hopes for some ignored sticks in the airport store. However, almost all cafes and terraces happily welcome those wishing to partake in a stick.

    Still not managed to master an ash free chest on a sun lounger!!!!

      Sorry you missed the La casa del Habanos in Funchal. Staff keen to help without being overbearing, IMHO But, out of town, quite a "wasteland" as you say

              Weirdly the one place in the town who had montes cohibas and partagas in tubes had emptied their cabinet, and the airport which had some of the above has also cashed out. Just these packs of cigarillos on offer

              The badge of cigar boutique is ironic at best....
