Things are not going well for B, unfortunately. She's just been put down on the list for spinal surgery.
Once that's been done, it means I can't lift her any more, which will curtail our adventures somewhat.
As a result, I asked if there was anywhere she'd like to go or anything she'd like to see.
She said she'd like to go to Paris. So to Paris she shall go!
When I asked why, she said she wanted to:
    See the Eiffel Tower
See the fountains (I'm guessing she means around the Eiffel Tower)
    Watch a mime
    Eat frog's legs
So I'm planning a trip for before her op and am looking for some recommendations.
Can anyone recommend a decent central hotel that's not going to bankrupt me?
Also (and this is entirely selfish, I know) are there any tabacs worth visiting (and do you know if they're wheelchair accessible?
She's so excited about the trip, she's already started learning some French!

You should definitely give a visit to the Lotus.

    4 Rue de l'Arcade, 75008 Paris

It's located right next to the church of the Madeleine. The store is rather small but is accessible by wheelchair, so a visit in the morning would probably be best.
