Barcelona - Spanish Regional Editions

I'm off to Barcelona next week and will be visiting some of the Cigar stores hoping to find some of the latest regionals, If anyone would like me to look out for something for them no problem.

I'll be looking to get some ERDM Petit Robustos, RA Caprichos and SLR Tesoros. I'll be happy to split these when I return if you are particularly waiting to try any of these please let me know below and you will have first choice.


I will also be looking out for any Boli 108's or Punch Gran Robustos that are left, but do not hold out much hope.

Hi Andy, when in Barcelona last October, all REs were completely sold out apart from a few singles of RA Grandes...I was gutted

The new SLR is only a few weeks old so hopefully you'll find some of them... Fingers crossed for you

No luck on any of the previous years RE's but did after searching all 5 shops find some SLR Tesoros, had a single and thought it quite good, medium profile, may have some potential for aging so I brought back all they had - 5 boxes. I'm laying one down splitting another and may let a few boxes go, one box is already gone but if anyone would like a box please let me know...

Did you go to Duaso? I'm there on Friday and was hoping to grab a couple of boxes.

Last time I went to Duaso, the owner (Jordi) was offhand and grumpy and wouldn't give me the time of day. I'd even PMd him on FB Messenger to say I was coming and he said he was expecting me. When I got there he couldn't be arsed at all

Unfortunately, Barca has been picked clean....there really is nothing of any note or rarity left

I know Gimenos is a bit of a tourist trap but if you're looking for boxes, make sure you get downstairs to the big humidor as there's only really singles upstairs. If you find the boss, ask him if he's any ERs put aside. He'll charge a premium but at least you might find something interesting

I did them all apart from Duaso as I was informed that they have moved to down by the stadium, I found a new shop to me - Guerrero and the owner Daniel spoke perfect English and was quite helpful, he had no stock but said if you want to call they will put some aside, all the shops seem to be fed about 10 boxes a fortnight which go in less than a week. I found mine in a very small place just around the corner from Daniels shop, all the big stores had no stock. If you call before had (like tomorrow) they will put some aside for you if they have them, Gimeno said he would too.

I wasn't quite sure too but I found these and was running out of time so did not get that far up, the small shop on the left up the Ramblas just after the big main square (Placa de Catalunya) had 9 left in his last box.

Duaso had a few jars, from memory Noellas, Partagas and the Spanish jars. Possibly Cohiba as well.
