    Hello all,

Wondering if anyone's got any experience of buying cigars in India?

I'm off to Kerala in Feb, with my flight stopping over in Muscat, Oman. I'm assuming Muscat airport will have some good duty free, but would be good to know if you guys have been there before?

    Kerala / Oman

It's a long time since I travelled to India (12 years ago!) but I do remember a fairly decent walk-in humidor at New Delhi duty-free, though can't remember prices or what was available.

Just to follow up on this if anyone was interested.

I travelled to/from Kochi(/Cochin) airport in Kerala, I didn't actually realise before I went that this isn't the state's capital. The airport was pretty small and had no real tobacco selection, just a few cartons of cigarettes.

Muscat airport in Oman however, was pretty good. They had a dedicated cigar shop (next to a smoking area!), which had a pretty good selection. All the major Cuban brands: Cohiba, Partagas, Monte, Boli, Upmann, RyJ, Hoyo, Trinidad and a few NC brands too. Good prices too, and the girl working there when I went was very nice and helpful

Unfortunately as I mentioned in my New Sticks thread, I'm trying to save some cash at the moment, so didn't have time to properly enjoy, and look at the LEs etc
