Hi all,
Just got back from a two week cruise with my parents (still a student so I take all the holidays I can get ) and on the very last stop after looking out for Habanos shops countless times I found a great little one unknown to myself. It's on the main street coming off the central piazza in Sorrento. I can't remember the name of it unfortunately but it had the words cigar corner written on the shop front and it certainly wasn't wrong! It was a newspaper shop basically, selling all manner of touristy objects, but in the middle had a surprisingly decent sized humidor. Inside it was a great selection of new/old cigars, they were laid out all higgledy-piggledy so it felt like you were discovering something new when you trawled through the boxes. From memory it had Upmanns, Cohiba Siglo VI & Robustos, Partagas, Quinteros, Trinidads etc. But in the end I plumped for a Ramon Allones Club Allones 2015 LE, I'm yet to try this one so I'm keen to see if it lives up to the hype or not!
Just thought I'd let everyone know about the shop in case you're ever in the Sorrento area.
Cheers,
Matt.
P.S. Capri is amazing, if you get the chance to go I'd definitely do it. It's a busy day but the views and shops are both brilliant; take the bus to Anacapri, that's a very memorable experience haha!
Happy smoking!!
